The Landes area is packed with treasures and history. Your camping break is a golden opportunity to visit amazing UNESCO sites such as Saint-Jean de Sorde Abbey, the Mimizan belltower-porch, Saint-Sever Abbey, Sainte-Quitterie d'Aire Church and many more.
The Landes is also home to countless medieval manors, the best known being Labastide d'Armagnac near Mont-de-Marsan. The region is also full of châteaux. Château Woolsack - once owned by the Duke of Westminster - is a must-visit! Travel further back in time to Prehistory around the world at the Brassempouy Museum where you can see one of the best collections of prehistoric statuettes in France, including the famous "lady with the hood".
